“Hello, my name is James and I am a Native English speaker with dual citizenship – British and New Zealander. I have been Teaching and Training, yes, they are different, for over thirty - five years. I have taught at international companies in South East Asia and leading Universities in the UK and Australia.

I have worked with the British Council as both an English language teacher and an IELTS Examiner, supporting candidates in achieving their goals for migration, employment, and postgraduate study. I hold a Master’s degree in Management, complemented by a range of qualifications in teaching and training. My classes are skills-based rather than content-heavy, as I believe it’s essential not only to learn a language but also to know how to use it effectively. As a fluent speaker of two foreign languages, I understand first-hand the challenges language learners face and how to overcome them. This experience allows me to relate closely to my students and tailor lessons to suit their needs.”
