“Hello, my name is James, a seasoned ESL/ELA teacher with over a decade of experience, dedicated to nurturing language skills across diverse age groups. With eight years of personal Mandarin Chinese learning, I understand language mastery through conventional means and cultural immersion.
After impactful years in China, primarily in Nanjing, I returned to the United States in 2019, bringing cultural diversity and adaptability to my teaching. Transitioning seamlessly between physical and digital classrooms, I instill a passion for language acquisition from young adults to kindergartners. With experience in training schools, international institutions, and kindergartens, I've gained a unique understanding of the developmental process in language learning.
By having a Bachelor’s degree in Principles and Methods of Language Education, an Associate’s Degree in Public Communications, and an advanced TESOL certificate, I combine creativity with a deep understanding of language education methods. Eager to create engaging learning environments, I am committed to making a meaningful impact on my students' language journey through dedication and innovative teaching methodologies, always prioritizing the students goals and needs.”
